The influential singer-songwriter and producer excelled at glam rock, art rock, soul, hard rock, dance pop, punk, and electronica during his eclectic 40-plus-year career. He released his 25th album, Blackstar, on Friday, which was his birthday. But that will be his last, as the starman waiting in the sky has come to meet him. All we can do now is put on our red shoes and dance the blues.
