Restless, visually sleek, and powered by a star performance from Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler offers dark, thought-provoking thrills. It was overall a strong directorial debut from Dan Gilroy, and the critics agree - it has a "certified fresh" score of 95% on Rotten tomatoes based on 186 reviews with an average rating of 8.2 out of 10, and a score of 76 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 45 critics indicating generally favourable reviews. To sum up, it was a great movie, but it didn't have Robin Williams in it (not that it would've worked). Not to worry, because we have some for you right now:
