Comrade Duch deserves more than 19 years in the slammer

Kang Kek Iew (better known as Comrade Duch) was the loser running the Tuol Sleng prison camp in Phnom Penh. During his time there, there were several heinous crimes against humanity including torture and murder - at least 12,000 prisoners were executed within Tuol Sleng by the Khmer Rouge. For his crimes, he was sentenced to 35 years' imprisonment, with a "pre-trial detention credit" of 11 years being applied to his sentence and an additional five-year deduction because "his period of pre-trial detention exceeded the maximum allowed under Cambodian law," reducing the sentence to 19 years. If I were the judge, I'd have that scumbag publicly executed due to the scale of the crimes committed under the regime.
