The Thai military needs to be stopped!

The political situation in Thailand is getting to a point where I feel that Thailand needs to get rid of the army just like Costa Rica did 60 years ago. An army is supposed to defend a country but the army in Thailand is trying to stamp out the Red Shirt protesters. King Bhumibol Adulyadej should just get rid of the army, execute the people responsible for the coup, and restore democracy before another violent clash takes place.
